Synopsis
Enxhi, a seventeen-year-old orphan in Tirana, collapses during a dance audition and is quietly removed from school after being diagnosed with a serious blood illness. With limited time and no institutional support, she begins searching for her biological parents. Her journey through northern Albania leads only to partial answers, silences, and traditions she does not fully belong to. In Berlin, her mother—who escaped past violence and built a new life—refuses to help, unwilling to reopen what she has sealed away. Returning home, Enxhi confronts her father, now a respected lawyer who offers life-saving help while denying the past. Faced with survival at the price of silence, Enxhi walks away, leaving the outcome unresolved.
